Horse-Human Relationship Program

Your horse’s behavior isn't the problem.

It's the communication gap.

Your horse isn't trying to make things difficult.
They're trying to be understood.

When communication starts breaking down, it shows up as resistance, hesitation, inconsistency, and frustration.

And over time, it starts affecting the confidence and trust inside the relationship itself.

This program helps you understand what your horse is actually telling you so you can respond with more clarity, confidence, and consistency both on the ground and under saddle.

Through live coaching, practical exercises, video feedback, and direct support, you'll learn how to improve your timing, communication, and relationship with your horse in a way that creates lasting change.

If This Feels Familiar…

These patterns often begin in small, easy to overlook moments and gradually become bigger frustrations.

  • You walk out to your horse unsure of how it's going to go.
  • They hesitate when you ask… or respond with resistance instead of willingness
  • A horse that's hard to catch… or sees the halter and walks the other way.
  • One that won't stand still… when tied or at the mounting block.
  • You have trouble getting them to move forward… or getting them to stop.
  • They rush past you when leading… or crowd into your space.
  • The farrier appointment becomes stressful… for all of you.
  • You second guess yourself more than you trust your decisions.

This is for horse owners who are ready to stop working around problems and start understanding what's actually causing them.

It requires consistency, awareness, and a willingness to pay attention to what your horse is communicating and how your responses affect the conversation.

How This Process Works

This isn't something you rush through.

It’s a process that builds real change step by step, so it actually lasts.

You're not trying to fix everything at once.

You're learning how to see what's happening, respond clearly in the moment, and build from there.

Phase One: Where Things Start to Make Sense

This is where everything begins to click.

Phase Two: Turning That Into Real Change

This is where things become consistent.

Phase Three: Bringing It Into Your Riding

This is where the foundation you built transfers into your riding.

What This Gives You

You don't just get short-term changes.

That's what creates lasting change.

How You'll Work Through the Program

What clients have experienced:

"My mare became scared and unpredictable, and I became fearful of working with her. Through progressive groundwork, I learned to be a leader for her and she became a partner for me. I now have a special bond with a horse I had given up on before working with Kate." - Jeannie P.

"Kate didn't just work with our two stubborn geldings. She worked with us. Their groundwork manners and responsiveness improved dramatically, and our riding became more balanced and confident. She transformed our relationship with our horses." - Lindsey & Jeremy G.

"After a serious fall and time in the ICU, I was done riding. With patience, Kate helped me rebuild confidence and reconnect with my horses. Now in my mid 70s, I ride my two horses several times a week and train my year old filly." - Ken B.

Her work is grounded in understanding, not force. She focuses on helping you see what your horse is actually communicating and how your timing, awareness, and energy shape the response you get.

Every part of this program is shaped to you and your horse as individuals, so you are not left guessing what to do next or trying to make a one size fits all method work.
